Saving $ - Managing Water: Regional and collaborative approaches to water, sewer, and stormwater management in Pennsylvania
The Environmental Law Institute and 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania are hosting a statewide conference and inviting all elected officials, authority managers, watershed organizations, planners and engineers, and citizens interested in water resources to participate and discuss new and innovative ideas for regional and collaborative water resource management. The conference is intended as: 1) a briefing on working examples of collaborative and regional approaches to water, sewer, and stormwater management in Pennsylvania communities; 2) a forum for exploring the economic and development benefits of implementing practical collaborative approaches to managing and planning for water resources and infrastructure; 3) an opportunity to identify upcoming and future policy initiatives, and pending state activities, which will affect communities’ ability to launch and fund regional and collaborative approaches.
